Our story

Munkwav Foundation began five years ago with a simple but powerful mission: to empower the women of Ikyurav Tiev and help them build brighter futures for themselves and their families. What started as a small initiative—providing skills training, mentorship, and support to a handful of women—has grown into a thriving community program that touches lives across the region.

Over the years, we have seen women gain confidence, start small businesses, and become leaders in their families and neighborhoods. Our journey has been fueled by the belief that when women thrive, entire communities flourish. From tailoring and handicrafts to educational workshops and advocacy, every program we run is designed to give women the tools, knowledge, and support they need to succeed.

Today, Munkwav Foundation continues to grow, inspired by the resilience, creativity, and determination of the women we serve. We are proud of the impact we’ve made so far—and excited for the future as we continue to empower more women in Ikyurav Tiev and beyond.
